CONTECH CL-426CF cables are designed for use with microphones but are also excellent for all line-level signals and have been developed for the highest quality recording applications where maximum definition of recorded sound is of critical importance. The 4 conductors arrangement cancels electro-magnetically induced noise from dimmer packs, AC power transformers and fluorescent lights. Spiral Bare Copper Shield is better for sound quality and simplifies termination. The cables are composed of large numbers of thin wire strands ( conductors and overall shield). Cables fit perfectly in all XLR-type audio connectors
