CL-223CF feature AWG #23 conductors and lower mutual capacitance to reduce the high frequency roll-off that occurs in long runs of mic level signals. The spiral shield and twisted pair construction is excellent at preventing from electromagnetic noise. These cables are recommended when high frequencies are important and where long cable runs are needed and, they are cheaper and easier to terminate than Braid coverage cables.
